Company Uses ServeManager to Manage High-Volume Business

Area Wide Legal Support Service has quickly expanded its business both geographically and in terms of serve volume. The company earned a sizable contract from the State of Florida to serve its papers all over the United States, which was an instant boost to its workload. In addition, Area Wide provides service to all of New York state and New York City, Western Massachusetts, Western Vermont, New Hampshire and New Jersey, as well as works with affiliates nationally and worldwide.
This rapid expansion means that Area Wide has a lot of moving pieces to coordinate. Almost a hundred process servers, thousands of process serving assignments ... it all adds up to a pressing need for an efficient, organized, user-friendly system to prevent growing pains.
After exploring various methods of overseeing his business, Area Wide Legal owner Raymond Bennett chose ServeManager to manage his company’s global operations. To date, Area Wide has completed thousands of jobs through ServeManager, averaging around 100 per day.
Bennett explained how ServeManager has helped to ensure constant communication and collaboration between Bennett’s large network of employees, clients and worldwide affiliates.
“ServeManager has increased visibility over our entire organization, no matter which state or country we’re operating in,” Bennett said. “Being able to assign jobs online and track them with electronic updates all the way through to uploading affidavits makes it easier for us to grow and expand geographically.”
ServeManager’s web-based platform (or “cloud computing”) gives Bennett’s process servers the ability to provide electronic updates from any computer or smartphone that has Internet access. With a decreased need for being near an office, Bennett said his employees and affiliates can focus more on serving papers and less on other time-consuming tasks.
“Our efficiency and communication have both improved greatly by using ServeManager to assign and manage our growing number of serves,” Bennett said.
