Please be sure to Backup or Export your course materials and/or student data from Summer Term. Instructions are available under ANGEL Tutorials.

You can also stop in during an ANGEL Open Lab and we’ll be happy to help you with this process. Be sure to save your Backup or Export to a safe location, such as your H: drive.

Open Lab Hours

CITe will continue to offer Open Lab hours in the TLC (Spangler 127). Stop by an Open Lab session for help right when you need it. Work on your ANGEL materials, explore Podcasting, and play with the latest Instructional Technology services.

Fall ’08 Instructional Technology Workshop Series

The Fall ’08 Workshop Series has been scheduled and is available under the ANGEL Information menu. Thanks to those who filled out our survey again this year, as we use this information to select dates, times, and topics.

23 Things

The Center for Instructional Technology and eLearning will be hosting 23 Things, an 8 week event that can improve your presence in ANGEL and increase your awareness of technology. ODU faculty and staff who complete 23 Things will receive a USB Flash Drive and be eligible for other prizes throughout the event.

23 Things provides 3-4 challenges each week, like adding a new content item in ANGEL or searching the web to learn about a new technology. Some challenges are quite easy and you may already be familiar with how to accomplish them, others will provide you with new opportunities to think about how you can use technology to enhance your students’ learning experience.

Registration is open until September 19th. To view the 23 Things list, as well as Wild Cards that can be used to replace a Thing you choose to skip over, click the 23 Things button on the left side of the page.

This group can be accessed from the ANGEL Home Page and will appear in the section directly below your list of courses.

The ANGEL Special Users Group is open to everyone and is related to the Instructional Technology Workshop Series. Prizes are also available to those who attend the Workshop Series and 23 Things. We’ll be giving away ANGEL Golf Umbrellas, ANGEL Travel Mugs, ANGEL Stationary, and Flash Drives.
