About Hons Investigations

Hons Investigations is a full service Private Detective Agency licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota. We have been in business in downtown Grand Forks, ND since 1992. We have process servers located in Grand Forks and Fargo, North Dakota. Our investigation area covers the entire states of North Dakota and Minnesota. Hons Investigations conducts investigations, process service and pre-employment background checks for many local, regional, national and international businesses, corporations, and government entities.

Besides Process Service, we are the regional leader in all types of surveillance including a large volume of insurance defense and workers compensation fraud investigations. Also on staff are professional photographers and interviewers for all of your accident scene investigation needs.

In July of 1999 Russell Hons was appointed to the North Dakota Private Investigations and Security Board, by North Dakota Governor Ed Schafer, for a four year term on this regulatory board. In 2003 he was Re-Appointed by Governor John Hoeven. He is currently serving in his 5th year as the Chairman of this Board.
