About Sabol & Associates, LLC.

My name is John Sabol. I have approximately 42 years of investigative experience, 22 years in law enforcement and 20 years in private investigations.

My law enforcement career started as a Dept. of the Army Criminal Investigator. From there I went to a Sheriff's Dept. in Washington State, leaving that department as a Detective Sergeant. I was then employed by a city police department, leaving that department as Captain of Police. From the police department, I joined the United States Marshals Service. My first duty station was the Western District of Washington, Seattle, Washington. After being promoted to Chief Deputy, the highest civil service rank in the Marshals Service, I was transferred to the Southern District of Georgia then to the Northern District of West Virginia and then to the Western District of Kentucky. For an 18 month period, I was appointed as the acting Marshal for the Western District of Kentucky.

In 1978, I suffered an injury while on duty in Northern District of West Virginia. In 1983, I was required to leave the Marshals Service as a result of this injury. In 1986, the US Dept. of Labor required that I return to work. I then joined 20/20 Investigative Services, Inc., and became its vice president. In 2005, I terminated my position with 20/20 and joined Arbogast and Associates, LLC, in February 2005. Mr. Arbogast has retired and he and his family have moved to Dublin, Ohio. I have acquired Arbogast and Associates, LLC and now operate as Sabol & Associates, LLC.

During my approximate 40 years of experience, I have received many, many hours of training in interviews and the taking of statements, surveillance, skip tracing, insurance fraud investigation and a multitude of other subjects.

I am the Treasurer and a Board Member of the Kentucky Chapter of the National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators. I was the vice president of Kentucky Professional Investigators Association; held that office for 4 years. I remain a member of KPIA.
