Requirements to Become a Process Server in West Virginia
  • Process servers in the state of West Virginia must be authorized by the county court in which he or she is serving.
  • Service may be performed by any person who is not a party to the case, does not have a vested interest in the outcome, and also must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
