ServeNow Member Guide

Congratulations on your ServeNow membership! ServeNow.com is a network of local pre-screened process servers. Our primary goal is to help paralegals, law firms, collection firms, and other legal professionals find qualified process servers like you! We are the most visited and trusted resource for process servers on the web. Here is an overview of ServeNow to get you on track to making the most of your membership:

Leads - Phone Calls

Phone calls are how most individuals hire process servers as they want immediate contact. Therefore, phone calls are the best indicator of the amount of traffic that your listing is receiving so always ask where a new customer found you. Understanding the value of your marketing tactics will help you nail down what’s working. 

Someone said they found you online? Oftentimes that means ServeNow due to our high Search Engine ranking on sites like Google.

Leads - Written Quotes

ServeNow provides you with written leads in two different ways: Quick Quotes and Quote Request (Direct Profile Contact). Quick Quotes are sent to all members in your listing area while Quote Requests are sent specifically to you. Read more in-depth about our Quote System here.

ServeNow's Link Value

ServeNow’s high search engine ranking helps highlight your company to potential clients. Due to ServeNow's high ranking on sites like Google, we provide more value to your company across the web. Our ranking on sites like Google helps your own website rank through the value of links. Our local optimization product can also help with this!


ServeNow Qualifications

Letters of Recommendation:

  1. Sign into your Lawgical account at Lawgical.com. If you have forgotten your password or have no created one yet, click 'Forgot Password.'
  2. On the upper right side of the page, look under Account Alerts
  3. Click on Incomplete Letters
  4. Under Letters of Recommendation, hit send request
  5. Type in name and email of recipient
    1. We require at least two letters of recommendation

The recipient will receive an email asking to recommend your business. Often times this email can go unnoticed, so please inform the recipient to be expecting this.

Advertiser questionnaires: 

  1. Sign into your Lawgical account at Lawgical.com. If you have forgotten your password or have no created one yet, click 'Forgot Password.'
  2. On the upper right side of the page, look under Account Alerts.
  3. Click on Incomplete Applications
  4. Under Advertiser Applications, click on General and complete the form.
  5. Hit 'Submit'
  6. Then click on Process Server and complete the form.
  7. Hit 'Submit'  

Updating your ServeNow Profile

To make the most of your ServeNow profile, you need to update as many categories as possible. The more categories you fill in, the more often you will show up in potential clients' search results. Here's how to fully complete your profile and make your business stand out.

  1. Log in to Lawgical. Use the e-mail address associated with your account as your username. If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot Password" link and follow the instructions sent to your email account.
  2. Click on the 'Products and Profiles' tab.
  3. Click 'Manage Profiles' under ServeNow.com.
  4. Click 'Edit Profiles' on the corresponding location.
    1. Double check your company information.
    2. Add your website.
    3. Choose which email where you would like to receive contact and quotes.
    4. Indicate which credit cards and payments you accept.
    5. Provide a company description that proves why you should be hired.
      1. Use important industry keywords (like process service, process servers) to help make your profile rank!
    6. List all your provided services (one per line).
    7. List your entire coverage area (one per line).
    8. List all your membership and affiliations (one per line).
    9. If applicable, add your E&O insurance provider's name and phone.
    10. Add your service guarantee (e.g., we guarantee service).
    11. Include a special offer (e.g., $5 off your first serve using the ServeNow.com special offer code).
  5. Save!

Don't forget to complete your ServeNow qualifications (advertiser applications and two recommendations) under Account Alerts on the Home Page!


ServeNow Recommendations

One of the most powerful ways to attract new clients is to have past clients speak well of your process serving firm. Reading positive reviews of the successful jobs you have completed for past customers tells potential clients they can likely expect the same high level of service.



To help ServeNow members tap into the power of testimonials, we have given ServeNow users the ability to recommend their favorite process servers to others. When people search for local process servers on ServeNow, they can filter the search results to show only process serving firms that have been recommended. If you have no recommendations on your profile, your firm will not show up in the filtered results.



How to gain recommendations


In order to start collecting more recommendations for your process serving firm’s profile, simply send a satisfied client this email template with your account information filled in:

Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for hiring us to handle your process serving needs! If you were pleased with our services, please recommend our company on ServeNow.
Your recommendation will help us provide superior services to others.

Find [Your Company's name] on ServeNow and click on the Recommend Button (located underneath the Member Info section on the upper right-hand side of the page).
Please click on this link and fill in your name and contact information (this information is for site monitoring purposes only: ServeNow does not spam or sell emails).
Click 'Create Account' and click the blue Recommend button and your recommendation will be applied. 
You will be redirected to a standard recommendation note.

Contacting a few past clients for a recommendation is a simple thing, but it can strengthen your image and gain more jobs for your firm. Don't forget to ask your satisfied clients for reviews on your Social Media pages like Google+, Yelp, and Facebook, too!


ServeNow Quotes

ServeNow.com gives people searching for local process servers two different ways to request written quotes. In this section, we'll explain each and give you a few tips for success when attempting to gain new clients. The quickest way to respond to written quotes is to respond to the email directly. However, most people CALL when hiring a process server - always be ready to answer your phone!

Quote Request

ServeNow.com users can visit individual process serving firms' profiles to compare and contrast them. When a particular profile interests them, they can send a quote request directly to that process server. The quote request delivers the requestor's contact information and a message containing details of the assignment. These types of quotes are archived in the 'Message Archive' under the 'My Company' tab in your Lawgical account but you may respond to the email directly in your own email account.

Quick Quotes

A Quick Quote is a way for people searching for process servers on ServeNow.com to get quotes from multiple process serving firms at the same time. If they search for process servers in Denver, CO, for example, their results show approximately 14 firms. When someone uses the Quick Quote button for the area in which your firm is located, it will send an e-mail to you and each of the other firms. These quotes are archived in your 'Cases' tab in your Lawgical account. Your response to this e-mail is critical, as it can lead to you getting the assignment. For more about that, keep reading.

Responding to Quotes

You can manage and view your quotes in the Message Archive under 'My Company' or in the 'Cases' tab in your Lawgical account. However, the most efficient way to respond to all quotes is directly through your own email account! Simply respond to the email sent to your account. The 'reply to' address may look strange as we protect sender data and email information, but your message will be delivered to the original sender. You may also contact them directly if the individual provided their contact information in the quote request.

How to Win Quick Quotes

Enabling the client to contact several firms simultaneously gives all of these process servers the opportunity to try to win the job. Now, whether or not you are the one who gets the job depends on what you do once you receive a Quick Quote request. Follow the steps below to increase your chances.

  1. The key to converting a high percentage of Quick Quotes into jobs for you is to respond as quickly as possible once they hit your e-mail inbox. The person requesting the quote will be comparing several local process serving firms, so you can only help yourself by being one of the first to respond.
  2. When you respond to the Quick Quote, be very thorough about the details of the service you will provide for the specified quote.
  3. If you have any questions about exactly what the person wants to be done, don't hesitate to pick up the phone and call. A knowledgeable conversation could turn a potential client into an actual client.
