PSACO Becomes a NAPPS Chartered State Association

This is the beginning. We're going to use this as one of those golden moments and see if we can drive that membership up.

PSACO President Steve Glenn

PSACO announced late Monday that they had attained State Charter status with the National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS). The association is now the eleventh NAPPS Chartered State Association. We spoke with Steve Glenn, President of PSACO, to get his insight on what this means for the association.

Glenn told ServeNow, "This is the beginning. We're going to use this as one of those golden moments and see if we can drive that membership up." With the association's goals of working toward registration and certification, gaining access to gated communities, and a process server assault bill, PSACO's ambitions will benefit from being a NAPPS Chartered State Association.

I was honored to sit on the NAPPS Board of Directors and to vote for the granting of Chartered State Status to PSACO this past weekend in Washington, D.C.

NAPPS State Association Committee Chair Larry Yellon

"Everything we've done to this point and everything that we're trying to do now is what's going to clarify the picture of what process serving is across the state," he said. "There's still a lot of work for us. All things go to protecting what we want our profession to be."

Former NAPPS President and current NAPPS State Association Committee Chair Larry Yellon shared his comments in an online post regarding the announcement. "I was honored to sit on the NAPPS Board of Directors and to vote for the granting of Chartered State Status to PSACO this past weekend in Washington, D.C.," he said. "As NAPPS State Association Committee Chair, it was especially gratifying to me. Congratulations again to Steve and the members of PSACO."

To process servers across Colorado,

This is a proud moment for our association. It marks a new beginning to a long journey. Let us never mistake the beginning for the end for our work never ends. Currently, we are working towards registration and certification, access to gated communities and a process server assault bill. I ask each of you to join our efforts to protect our industry and help us move toward a level of professionalism that mirrors the standards of the Judicial System we serve. Always remember your voice counts!

Respectfully,
