CALSPro Shows Off New Website During Conference
CALSPro debuted its new website during the association’s 43rd annual conference held at the end of September in Reno, Nevada. According to CALSPro president Chad Barger, the positive feedback he has received so far indicates that the project is a major success.
“I think everyone at the conference was extremely impressed with the website and how it works,” Barger said. “The way that the content and resources are laid out on the page makes it very user-friendly so anyone can find what they're looking for.”
The new CALSPro website, built by ServeNow through close collaboration with CALSPro, gives the association a highly improved platform to grow and become more visible within the legal community. It was designed to be search engine-friendly and user-friendly, and it was customized to fill CALSPro's specific needs. Barger listed some of the ways that the website will help to further the association’s goals:
Revenue
“Through the new sponsorship opportunities on the website we have created a new revenue stream for CALSPro. Soon we will get an e-commerce section set up so people can pay over the internet.”
Member marketing
“I'm expecting it to draw the legal community to our site in order to find or use our members. It’s a powerful tool to connect the legal community with our members.”
Communication within the association
“We expect to make communication much faster and effective with our members through the website. The events section and blog allow us to share regular updates about current events.”
Education for the process serving industry
“The new site is a great
resource for the legal support profession in terms of education and legislation.”
Working with ServeNow provided CALSPro with its ideal website in time for the big unveiling at its conference, and Barger said the entire experience has paid big dividends already.
“The experience of working with ServeNow has been excellent. They were able to provide us with more than what we had even imagined,” Barger said.
