About the Company

National Professional Process Server Network (NPPSN) is a division of TechVGroup, which was founded in 1994. TechVGroup is a nationwide programming, web hosting and design firm that maintains various popular web portals and hosts and designs web sites and marketing programs for professional process servers throughout the United States.

NPPSN completed development of Case Manager in 2003, and it has since been widely distributed throughout the United States. Case Manager was developed in response to numerous requests from process servers throughout the USA for a program that was simple to operate, and would enable them to enter process serving data, and manage their all aspects of their business including accounting, in a simple and low cost manner.

Since this time, we have issued 37 upgrades to meet with special needs of our process server clients.

Process Server Software

About the Software

Simply stated, Case Manager contains all of the data entry, accounting and forms generation features that Process Servers need to conduct an efficiently run business, without any confusing Bells and Whistles.

Case Manager is very simple to navigate, and highly customizable to suit all of your forms printing needs, including California POS – 010, Colorado and Texas forms.

Forms and reports are automatically generated using data you enter on the data entry screens, and available for rapid retrieval at any time. All forms can be customized using the software’s built-in forms customization tools.

Case Manager software is very robust, and so user friendly, that individuals with no computer experience will be able to use it within an hour.

Case Manager operates on a desktop or laptop computer (and or internal Network) and includes an optional feature to upload database files to a Case Information Search Database located on the Internet, for viewing by clients. The software automatically creates a “snapshot image” of all affidavits and other forms with no need to scan them, and it uploads the snapshot image to the online database for viewing by clients.

The Case Information Search Database is linked to from the process server’s web site (if they have one), or accessible at an internet address NPPSN provides (if they do not have a web site). This database enables a process serving firm to upload all of its process serving records to the internet in a highly confidential password protected area that only the firm or its employees and clients have access to. This allows employees or clients to track the status of all papers served, and view affidavits on the internet – 24 hours a day.

Total Record Security: Process serving firms never need to be concerned that a client or employee will be able to view all of its records in their online database. Each employee, attorney or other client is issued their own ‘unique user name and password’, which they enter into the software. A client can only view their own papers using their assigned user name and password. If a unique user name and password is assigned to an employee or other process server then he/she can only view online papers that were assigned to them to serve. In no event can anyone access a company’s complete client list in the private online database.

Is your solution web based or does it required a PC/server installation?

Case Manager operates on a desktop or laptop computer (and or internal Network) and includes an optional feature to upload database files to a Case Information Search Database located on the Internet, for viewing by clients or employees. The process is fully automated.

No server installation is required by the user. Everything is installed by NPPSN and is ready to operate when the software is installed. NPPSN provides comprehensive instructions, instruction manual and training of employees.

What are the benefits of this product over other industry offerings?

There is no process sever software that we are aware of that is as user friendly and robust in every area as our software, though there are software products that are also geared to legal professionals other than process servers that have features that are not contained in Case Manager.

We do customize our software frequently to meet with requests of various legal professionals other than process servers, provided that we feel that we can broaden our market by doing this.

Future plans for the product?

For competitive reasons, we do not divulge future product plans to anyone but NPPSN members and Case Manager Users.

We are responsive to user needs and recognize that no two users are alike, and for that reason are one of the few companies we know of that provides custom software updates to meet user needs, when requested. Our software was upgraded no fewer than 12 times during 2005 to satisfy user requests.

Client references are provided upon request.

What should a process server look for when choosing a product?

The software must be simple to use and allow a process server to easily generate process serving forms that meet state requirements in every respect. Other important features are the ability to generate various types of reports, worksheets, status reports, invoices, etc.

Case Manager meets all needs, including the ability to customize any type of form using data entered into the database, share data over a network, and provide Case Information lookups on the internet.

No two process servers have the same perceived needs.
